This year, Sónia Ferreira, Founder, and CEO, and Nelson Oliveira, CTO of BH4U, will be returning to the event. 

They will be meeting with potential partners and customers to present Bio2Skin.

Bio2Skin is a biocompatible and sustainable medical adhesive that fully prevents MARSI – Medical Adhesive-Related Skin Injuries for patients who need medical devices that don’t damage the skin any further. 

Bio2Skin was BH4U’s first developed product. 

It was the reason why the company was created and is connected to all the uncomfortable experiences that the Founder, Sónia Ferreira, experienced throughout her whole life. 

Sónia was born with a bladder malformation, which led her to be ostomized at a very early age. This meant she had to have an ostomy pouch glued to her stomach since she was 7 years old. 

With the constant need to replace the ostomy pouch, Sonia’s skin got more and more damaged and sore, since the existing glues were, and still are, very aggressive on her skin. When the time came to pick a line of work, Sónia decided it was time to bring a revolutionary product to market: a glue-less glue – Bio2Skin.
