Portuguese design company LARUS has been chosen to design the public toilets and kiosks-bar of the new Kun Iam Statue Waterfront Leisure Area.
In 2017, LARUS was chosen to furnish Taipa Central Park and since 2013 has been exporting to the Macao SAR.
Now, in the new Kun Iam Statue Waterfront Leisure Area, LARUS street furniture will join the Macau Science Centre and the Kun Iam Ecumenical Centre, alongside physical maintenance recreational equipment or the water trail.
“This equipment for public toilets, with remarkable dimensions, was a challenge that was proposed to us in 2019, in conjunction with the authors of the global project for the NAPE area”, said LARUS.
This Portuguese urban furniture brand was considered in 2011 the best European company in the implementation of Design by the European Design Centre. Their work can be seen in cities like Lisbon, Madrid, Casablanca (Morocco), Luanda (Angola), London or Dubai.
